Ingredients
- 7g (2 ¼ tsp) dry yeast;
 - 125ml (½ cup) water;
 - 185ml (¾ cup) milk;
 - 125ml (½ cup) butter, melted;
 - 60g (⅓ cup) sugar;
 - ¼ tsp salt;
 - 3 egg yolks;
 - 540g (4 cups) all-purpose flour;
 - Melted butter;
 - Full-fat cream.
 
Preparation
- Whisk 1 tbsp of sugar and dry yeast into warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
 - Add warm milk into the yeast solution, then whisk in egg yolks, leftover sugar and melted butter.
 - Add flour and salt into the liquid mixture and mix together until the dough forms.
 - Cover and set the dough aside for 1 hour.
 - Roll the dough out into a rectangle, brush with some more butter and cut into 12 strips.
 - Roll each strip into a bun as shown on the video. Set aside for 1 hour to puff up, then brush with cream and bake at 180C/350F for 15-20 minutes, until golden. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
