1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Vegetable oil for frying
1 package of egg roll wrappers
1/2 pound ground pork
2 cups finely shredded cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
☆Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
Cook the ground pork in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant.
Stir in cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Cook until slightly softened.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Roll the Egg Rolls:
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center.
Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly into a cylinder. Seal the top corner with water.
Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Fry the Egg Rolls:
Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a large pot or deep fryer.
Carefully add the egg rolls in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
Drain on paper towels.
