Indulge in Morning Bliss with Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Filling:

  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk, and granulated sugar until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Roll it out into a rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Spread Butter: Evenly spread softened butter over the dough rectangle.
  5. Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
  6. Roll Dough: Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
  7. Slice Rolls: Using a sharp knife or dental floss, cut the dough log into 1-inch thick slices.
  8. Arrange Rolls: Place the cinnamon roll slices into the prepared baking dish, leaving some space between each.
  9. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden brown.
  10. Prepare Glaze: While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
  11. Drizzle Glaze: Once the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before drizzling the glaze over the top.
