Ingredients:
Dough:
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Filling:
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk, and granulated sugar until a soft dough forms.
- Knead Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Roll it out into a rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread Butter: Evenly spread softened butter over the dough rectangle.
- Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
- Roll Dough: Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Slice Rolls: Using a sharp knife or dental floss, cut the dough log into 1-inch thick slices.
- Arrange Rolls: Place the cinnamon roll slices into the prepared baking dish, leaving some space between each.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden brown.
- Prepare Glaze: While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Drizzle Glaze: Once the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before drizzling the glaze over the top.
- Serve: Serve warm and relish in the delightful flavors!
