- 4 slices of thick bread (such as Texas toast or a hearty artisan bread)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 16 slices of pepperoni
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Optional: marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Bread:
- Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the bread slices butter-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Add the Toppings:
- Mix the garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle the mixed herbs evenly over the unbuttered side of the bread slices.
