Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 natural yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- Flour (enough to achieve a cake batter consistency)
- 10g baking powder
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, oil, yogurt, and milk. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour until the batter reaches a thick pancake-like consistency.
- Stir in baking powder to ensure the doughnuts rise well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a spoon, drop dollops of batter into the hot oil to form doughnut shapes.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides, flipping as needed.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Optionally, coat with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar while still warm.
