Ingredients:

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Bomb Layer:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or any nut butter of your choice)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

For the Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

1. Brownie Layer: a. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. b. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until well combined. c. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. d. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. e. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

2. Bomb Layer: a. In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth. b. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture onto the brownie batter. c. Use a knife or spatula to swirl the peanut butter mixture into the brownie batter.

3. Bake: a. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (but not wet batter). b. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan.

4. Chocolate Ganache: a. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to boil. b. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy. c. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cooled brownie and peanut butter layers, spreading it evenly.

5. Chill and Serve: a. Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours or until the ganache is set. b. Once set, cut into bars and serve.
