Homemade German Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

3 eggs

large 1 3 ounce packet

instant custard 1/3-1/2 cup oil (depending on brand of cake)

1 tin German Chocolate Cake

1 8 ounce cream cheese – soft

1 1/4 cup water (depending on brand of cake)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 12 oz whipping cream, frozen (none 12 oz found and 9 oz used)

1 jumbo Hershey bar – crushed ( other size)

1 cup chopped pecans (or selected dried fruit)

Instructions:

batter, custard, eggs and oil & water according to the directions on the dough package.

Beat until smooth and pour into two 8-inch pans – greased and greased. Dust with flour or sprinkle with

something like Bakers Joy (I spray them in). Bake at 350°C for 35 minutes. Remove

layers and let cool.

WITH BLENDER (Important!unless you have a REALLY strong hand!) Beat together the cream cheese

and powdered sugar for 20 minutes.

Add the icing sugar and stir until smooth.
