Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of white sugar
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Whisk in the melted butter, egg, and milk until the batter is smooth. Allow the batter to rest for 5 minutes.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot skillet.
- Cook the pancakes for 2 to 3 minutes, until bubbles start to form on the edges and in the center.
- Carefully flip the pancakes and cook them until they are golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes more.
