Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls

These Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls will quickly become your new favorite appetizer. Full of flavors and aromas, this easy recipe will have you devouring.

Cheesesteak Egg Rolls are basically the perfect combination of American fast food and Chinese fast food rolled into one. We love this recipe because it’s super easy to make (and cheap!!No ribs needed here, ground beef wins!), and you can pack enough for dinner tonight and then freeze an extra giant portion three more times if you feel like it!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 yellow onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, mashed
24 packets of eggs -Kach Buns
12 slices American Cheese
3/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

How to Make Philadelphia Cheese Spring Rolls

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef, shredding as little as possible, until brown and about the size of a pea, 5 to 7 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.Mix gently and remove the mixture from the pan.
Melt the butter in a pan. add onions and peppers; cook and stir until brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Return the beef mixture to the pan and stir. Let the filling cool while you prepare the buns.
Place the spring roll wrappers on a flat surface. Place half a slice of American cheese on top of each. Place 3 tablespoons of filling on each spring roll. Pull the bottom left corner over the filling and fold both sides toward the center. Gradually moisten the edges with water. wrap well.
Heat about an inch of oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.Add 3 to 4 egg rolls at a time and fry until browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining egg rolls.

Tips for the Best Philly Egg Rolls:

Steak– Rib eye or flank steak can also be used. Even ground hamburger works. Cut your steak into bite sized pieces for easier eating and filling.
